Join the Family Help Team in Dorset as a Qualified Social Worker (QSW) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of families and children in need. In this dynamic role, you will work collaboratively with families, local agencies, and community partners to provide support and guidance, ensuring the welfare and safety of children while promoting family resilience and well-being.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing care plans that promote positive outcomes. Providing direct support and intervention to families to enhance parenting skills and family dynamics. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local policies and legislation. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure holistic support for families. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.To be considered for this role, you must possess a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent) and hold current registration with Social Work England. We are looking for candidates with strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and a commitment to child-centered practice. Experience in working with families in a social work context will be highly advantageous.
