Join our dedicated Locality Team in North Yorkshire as a Children's Social Worker and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in our community. We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to provide high-quality social work services, ensuring the safety and well-being of children while promoting their development and welfare. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and other professionals to assess needs, develop intervention plans, and deliver effective support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify strengths and areas of need. Developing and implementing tailored care plans that address the specific needs of children and their families. Building strong relationships with children, families, and community resources to facilitate access to services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families in a social work setting. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
