Join our dedicated Children In Care Team as a Part-Time Qualified Social Worker in Staffordshire, where your expertise will make a real difference in the lives of children and families. You will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in care, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the individual needs of children. Building strong relationships with children, families, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to care. Reviewing and monitoring the progress of children in care to ensure their needs are being met effectively. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of policies and practices that enhance the welfare of children.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience working with children and families, particularly within the care system. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and adults.
