We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in Isle of Wight for a Long Term Child Protection position. As a key member of our social work team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertaking assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks of children and families Developing and implementing care plans to support positive outcomes for children in need of protection Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including health professionals, schools, and the police Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to ensure the best interests of the child are met Providing support and guidance to families to promote their capacity to care for their childrenEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification Registered with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding work Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAdditional requirements and benefits:
