Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in North Yorkshire, where you will play a vital role in supporting children and families in need. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality social work services to children and young people with disabilities. Your expertise will help promote their welfare, ensuring they receive the care, support, and protection they deserve.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners. Providing direct support and guidance to children and their families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected. Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure the ongoing effectiveness of interventions and support services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with local authority procedures and legal requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in children's social work, particularly with children with disabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children, families, and professionals. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
