We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Together for Families Team in Reading. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need.

Rate: £38 per hour
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Locum Qualified Social Worker to join the Physical Disability and Older People (PDOP) Team at Reading Borough Council.
The PDOP Team is part of the Living Well Service within Adult Social Care, alongside the Mental Health and Learning Disability & Autism (LDA) teams. Under the leadership of the Head of Service, the Living Well Service works collaboratively to deliver high-quality care and support.
About the PDOP Team:
This multi-disciplinary team includes Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and Social Care Coordinators. Together, we provide assessment and support planning for adults aged 18 and over with long-term physical disabilities, as well as those aged over 65.
Role Requirements:
Proven experience working with adults with physical disabilities and older people
Ability to conduct client and site visits, requiring regular travel within commuting distance to Reading
Attendance at office meetings as required
Strong assessment and care planning skills within a multi-disciplinary team environment
This locum role offers an excellent hourly rate of £38 per hour.
