We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Hertfordshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and interventions for children and families to ensure their safety and well-being.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Undertaking comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support Developing and implementing care plans to address identified needs and risks Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide coordinated support Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as required Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interventions and interactionsThe ideal candidate for this role will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification Registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding work Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesIn addition to the above requirements, candidates with experience working in a similar role within a local authority setting will be preferred.
