We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult Learning Disabilities Team in Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity to support adults with learning disabilities in leading safe, independent, and fulfilling lives.
About the Role
As a Social Worker in our Learning Disabilities Team, you will:
Carry out person-centred assessments, care planning, and reviews.
Work within the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act, and other key legislation.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, families, carers, and partner organisations.
Promote independence, well-being, and choice for adults with learning disabilities.
Manage a caseload involving complex needs, safeguarding, and mental capacity assessments.
About You
Were looking for a motivated professional who can bring experience, compassion, and a strong understanding of adult services. You should:
Be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
Have previous experience working in adult social care - preferably with learning disabilities.
Demonstrate sound knowledge of relevant legal frameworks.
Be confident in managing complex cases and working in a multi-agency setting.
Be passionate about improving outcomes for adults with learning disabilities.
