Are you a dedicated and compassionate mental health professional looking to make a significant impact in the Wiltshire community? We are seeking an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to join our dynamic Allied Health Professional (AHP) team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assessment and treatment of individuals experiencing mental health crises, ensuring their safety and well-being while providing high-quality support and intervention.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting mental health assessments and formulating care plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and other professionals regarding mental health issues. Facilitating access to appropriate services and resources for individuals in need of mental health support. Participating in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices in mental health care.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant professional qualification in mental health, such as social work, nursing, or occupational therapy. Current AMHP status and registration with a recognized professional body. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals. Experience in crisis intervention and knowledge of mental health legislation. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Join our dynamic Mental Health Team in Wiltshire, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals and enhance their well-being. We are seeking a qualified social worker who is passionate about empowering clients and fostering recovery through a person-centered approach.

As a member of our Adult's Social Work - Mental Health Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs and risks, ensuring that all interventions are tailored to their unique situations. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Providing ongoing support and guidance to clients, helping them navigate mental health services and access community resources. Monitoring and reviewing clients' progress, making necessary adjustments to care plans to promote recovery and well-being. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements and best practice guidelines.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with adults in mental health settings, demonstrating a strong understanding of mental health legislation and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
