Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work (CWD Team) in North Yorkshire, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting children with disabilities and their families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable children. In this position, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to assess needs, create tailored support plans, and ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children’s needs and family dynamics. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in regular supervision and training to enhance professional development.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities and a strong understanding of relevant legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions in complex situations.
