We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team in Shropshire. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families in the region.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Undertaking assessments and investigations to determine the needs and risks faced by children and families. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other professionals and agencies. Providing support and guidance to children and families to promote positive outcomes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports. Participating in team meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings as required.

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience working in a similar role within Children's Services. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection and safeguarding. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations.

Essential Requirements:

Proven experience in acute medicine, respiratory, and care of the older person

Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and coaching to colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver high-quality physiotherapy services across acute medical, respiratory, and older person care wards

Support junior colleagues through supervision, training, and mentoring

Contribute to effective discharge planning and safe patient flow

Work collaboratively within the wider MDT to enhance patient outcomes
