Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Staffordshire, where you will play a vital role in improving the lives of children and families facing challenges. We are seeking a passionate and qualified social worker who is committed to making a positive impact in the community. In this role, you will assess the needs of children with disabilities and their families, develop tailored support plans, and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for the children in our care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and strengths. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.To be considered for this position, you must hold a recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work) and be registered with Social Work England. Additionally, we are looking for candidates who possess:
Experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
