Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking an experienced Adults Social Worker to join the Review Team.
This role involves working with complex cases, supporting adults through statutory reviews and safeguarding processes.
Important requirements (non-negotiable):
On-site presence required, must be willing to travel to Stoke
2 years post-qualified experience minimum
£28.40 umbrella rate only (no higher rates considered)
Must not have been in a permanent role within the last 12 months
1 month notice period required
Full-time role
2 days per week office attendance (flexible depending on visits)
Key responsibilities:
Undertake Care Act reviews for adults with complex needs
Manage complex casework within the review team
Complete Section 42 safeguarding work
Work in line with statutory duties and safeguarding procedures
Liaise with service users, carers, and partner agencies
