We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Gloucestershire Safeguarding Team based in Stroud. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to vulnerable children and families in the area.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertaking assessments of children and families to identify their needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Working collaboratively with partner agencies to provide a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as required. Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration. Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding work. Strong assessment and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases.Additional requirements or benefits:
