The London Borough of Sutton is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Safeguarding Team. This pivotal role involves working collaboratively to protect vulnerable adults and ensure their wellbeing within the community. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults at risk, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are prioritized. Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in collaboration with service users, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and partner agencies on safeguarding issues. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with local and national policies. Participating in safeguarding meetings and contributing to strategy development.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A qualified Social Worker with a valid Social Work England registration. A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification. Proven experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
