I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Support & Wellbeing Advisor to join a specialist organisation supporting veterans and individuals with complex needs on a 6 month agency contract.
The role would suit candidates with backgrounds in wellbeing, social care, welfare, housing support, community support, advocacy or case management.
Location: Glasgow
Contract: 6 Months Initially
Rate: £26-28ph Umbrella
Hours: Full Time 37.5 Hours
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a varied caseload of service users
- Providing holistic wellbeing and welfare support
- Supporting vulnerable individuals, including those in crisis
- Working alongside statutory and third sector partners
- Delivering trauma-informed support plans
- Maintaining accurate case records and outcome reporting
Candidates with experience in any of the following environments are encouraged to apply:

Support & Wellbeing Advisor - 6 Month Initial Contract

Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Agency Contract (initial 6 months)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Support & Wellbeing Advisor to join a well-established third sector organisation delivering specialist welfare and wellbeing support across the community.
This role will involve providing holistic, person-centred support to individuals facing a range of complex social, emotional and practical challenges. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, undertake assessments and triage referrals, develop tailored support plans, and work closely with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure individuals receive appropriate and timely interventions.
You will support service users experiencing issues such as mental health challenges, financial hardship, housing concerns, social isolation and wider wellbeing needs. The position requires a compassionate and proactive professional who is confident working in fast-paced environments and supporting vulnerable individuals, including those who may present in crisis situations.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a diverse caseload and maintaining accurate case records
Conducting needs assessments and creating tailored support plans
Working collaboratively with statutory services, charities and community organisations
Applying trauma-informed and person-centred approaches in all areas of practice
Providing advocacy, signposting and practical support to service users
Supporting service development initiatives and wellbeing projects
Attending multi-agency meetings and representing the service professionally
To be considered, applicants should have previous experience within welfare, wellbeing, social care, housing support, mental health, community outreach or related support services. Experience managing complex caseloads and working with vulnerable adults is essential.
Candidates should also demonstrate:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Experience working in partnership with external agencies
Knowledge of safeguarding principles and professional boundaries
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
Competent IT skills including Microsoft Office systems
Experience supporting members of the armed forces community, veterans or individuals connected to military services would be advantageous, although this is not essential.

Location: Glasgow (Neurorehabilitation Service)
Contract: Fixed Term - 12 Months
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £50,861 - £59,159 (DOE)
Overview
We are working with a leading neurological rehabilitation provider to recruit a Senior Specialist Speech & Language Therapist to join a highly skilled multidisciplinary team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a specialist service supporting individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI), delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions and leading on Speech & Language Therapy provision within the service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and prioritise a complex caseload of patients with neurological conditions and associated communication and swallowing difficulties
Deliver comprehensive assessments, rehabilitation plans, and therapy programmes tailored to individual needs
Provide specialist input into dysphagia management, including assessments, care plans, and staff training
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including clinicians, families, and external stakeholders
Lead on the development and delivery of Speech & Language Therapy services within the setting
Produce high-quality clinical documentation, reports, and care plans in line with professional standards
Support clinical governance, service development, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Essential:
Degree in Speech & Language Therapy
HCPC registration
Proven experience working with neurological or ABI patients
Strong experience in dysphagia assessment and management
Experience managing complex caseloads and working within MDT environments
Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience
Desirable:
Postgraduate qualification (clinical or leadership)
Experience in service development or leading teams
Membership of the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists
