Eden Brown Synergy is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join Rutland County Council's Children with Disabilities / Safeguarding Team.

Pay Rate: £38 per hour (Umbrella)

Role & Responsibilities (R&R):

Undertake assessments and develop effective support plans for children with disabilities
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of children in line with statutory requirements
* Work collaboratively with families, carers, and multi-disciplinary professionals
* Maintain clear, accurate and up-to-date case records and reports
* Contribute to service development and continuous improvement within the team

Essential Requirements:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work
* Minimum 3 years' post-qualified experience in Children's Services
* Social Work England registration
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle

Occupational Therapist - £32 per hour - Hybrid Working (Rutland)
Location: Catmose, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6HP, United Kingdom
Work Pattern: Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office for full-time staff, with flexibility for additional visits and urgent cases

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Rutland, providing assessments and interventions for adults and children. Your work will enable service users to remain in their homes with the highest level of independence and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess adults and children with disabilities, arranging equipment and adaptations to maximise independence, including major adaptations where necessary.Conduct risk assessments for complex moving and handling situations and develop management plans.Involve service users and carers in assessments, support planning, and accessing Direct Payments.Identify and demonstrate assistive technologies to ensure safe use.Maintain accurate assessment and case records, monitor and review support plans for effectiveness.Update systems to support service delivery and collect statistical data.Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and provide guidance to Social Workers.Work collaboratively with health and social care professionals to ensure seamless transitions for service users.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

Degree or Diploma in Occupational TherapyHCPC registration

Experience:

Experience in adult social work or adult health settingsKnowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures

Knowledge & Skills:

Understanding of the Care Act 2014 and national health and social care agendasAbility to conduct holistic assessments and risk evaluationsStrong professional judgement in planning and evaluating careExperience devising and implementing reablement goals and plansExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to collaborate with multiple professionals and agenciesStrong organisational and IT skills
