We are seeking 8 experienced Occupational Therapists to join Adult Services across Suffolk's West, Ipswich, and North localities. This is a great opportunity to work in a proactive, supportive team environment contributing to service improvements and supporting CQC readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver timely and safe OT assessments and reviews across the directorate

Triage and reduce duplication across health and social care pathways

Support the reduction of OT waiting lists

Review and assess double-handed care packages

Work with external care providers to ensure correct and safe moving and handling

Optimise care packages for value and appropriate equipment use

Provide mutual aid to other OT teams as needed

Requirements:

HCPC registered Occupational Therapist

Experience in adult social care

Strong assessment, care planning, and moving & handling skills

Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Car driver preferred due to locality travel

This is a hybrid role offering exceptional flexibility, including remote working, autonomous scheduling, and regular team support through Microsoft Teams. It's a fantastic opportunity for OTs with specialist experience who are looking to make a difference in the lives of children with long-term conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments for minor and major home adaptations

Make recommendations for DFG-funded adaptations

Prescribe and review specialist equipment (e.g. safety beds, hoists, shower chairs, stair climbers)

Deliver moving and handling solutions ranging from low-level to complex cases

Offer guidance for children with neurodiverse conditions and related behavioural safety concerns

Work collaboratively with social workers, local special schools, health OT colleagues, and behavioural support teams

Record and manage caseload information using Mosaic

Requirements:
HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist

Proven experience with children's equipment and home adaptations

Confident handling a varied caseload involving complex needs

Working knowledge of moving and handling best practices

Experience using Mosaic (desirable)

Must be able to work independently and manage own schedule

About the Role:

Suffolk County Council is looking for a Senior Social Worker to join its specialist Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB) Service. This is a vital, non-case-holding position supporting frontline social workers by providing expertise, guidance, and direct intervention when working with children and young people who display sexualised behaviours.

Using Hackett's (2010) Continuum of Behaviour, this role plays a key part in early identification, prevention, and risk reduction to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children across Suffolk.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide consultation, advice, and intervention to professionals dealing with concerns about harmful sexual behaviour (HSB) in children.

Participate in threshold discussions with MASH to evaluate HSB cases.

Carry out direct work with children and young people (non-case-holding), working alongside social workers and lead professionals.

Where required, contribute to AIM3 assessments to evaluate the level of intervention needed (training desirable but not essential).
