Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join the Front Door & MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) service in Warwickshire County Council.
About the Role:
You will be part of the initial point of contact for referrals and safeguarding concerns involving children and young people. This role is pivotal in the early identification of risks, ensuring timely decisions are made to safeguard vulnerable children.
Responsibilities:
Screening and triaging referrals in line with threshold criteria.Undertaking information gathering from partner agencies to inform decision-making.Applying professional judgement to assess risk and decide on next steps (e.g., assessment, Early Help, NFA).Working closely with MASH partners including Health, Police, and Education.Ensuring all decisions and actions are recorded clearly and appropriately.Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration.Minimum of32 years' post-qualifying experience in Children's Services (preferably MASH/Front Door).Strong knowledge of thresholds and safeguarding procedures.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment.

Warwickshire County Council is seeking an experienced and committed Children's Social Worker to join their Family Help and Assessment Team. This is a frontline assessment role, supporting families and children at the point of referral, ensuring timely assessments, safety planning, and appropriate interventions are delivered in line with statutory duties and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake Child and Family Assessments, S47 investigations and short-term interventions
* Complete initial visits and engage families using a strengths-based approach
* Work alongside Early Help services and other multi-agency partners
* Identify risks and needs, ensuring appropriate safeguarding actions are taken
* Contribute to Child in Need and Child Protection planning
* Produce clear, analytical and timely reports and records
* Attend strategy meetings, ICPCs, court proceedings (if required)
Essential Requirements:
* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* At least 3 years' PERM experience as a social worker within children's services
* Social Work England Registration
* Driving license and access to own vehicle
