Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join the Adults, Health Partnerships & Housing team at North Northamptonshire Council.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering person-centred, outcomes-focused services to adults with care and support needs.
LocationWilliam Knibb Centre, Alfred Street, Kettering, NN16 0SWSwanspool House, Wellingborough, NN8 1BPWorking Pattern: Office-based during induction, followed by hybrid working once established in the role.
Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake Care Act assessments, reviews and risk assessments for adults and carers.Develop personalised support plans and work alongside brokers to arrange appropriate care packages, equipment and adaptations.Manage an allocated caseload in line with statutory requirements, professional standards and local policies.Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes for service users.Apply relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, and Mental Health Act, where appropriate.Maintain accurate case records, reports and documentation.Safeguard vulnerable adults and work effectively with partner agencies, NHS professionals and third-sector organisations.Support and mentor less experienced colleagues where required.RequirementsDegree or equivalent qualification in Social Work (CQSW, DipSW or equivalent).Current registration with Social Work England.Experience working within Adult Social Care, including Mental Health, Older People, Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities or Transitions.Strong assessment, case management and risk assessment skills.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Full UK driving licence and the ability to travel independently.Benefits of working with Eden Brown SynergyDBS check processed and paid for by Eden Brown Synergy.£300 referral bonus when you refer a colleague or friend.Bonus for finding your own job.Twice-weekly payroll.Dedicated recruitment consultant to support you throughout your job search, placement and beyond.Apply NowIf you are interested in this position, please send your CV to Shristi Yadav at or call 0114 700 3826 for a confidential discussion.
