As a Social Worker in our Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans to address the needs of children and families. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for children at risk. Providing direct support and interventions to families, promoting positive outcomes and safeguarding practices. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in child safeguarding.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in a safeguarding context, with a strong understanding of child protection legislation and frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities, with a commitment to achieving positive outcomes.
