Join Wigan Council's Fostering Service - Kinship Assessment Team Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Kinship Assessment Team within Wigan Council's Fostering Service. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a supportive team focused on assessing and supporting family and friends carers. Key Responsibilities * Undertake viability assessments and Regulation 24 assessments * Complete Form K assessments in line with statutory guidance * Support the overall process of kinship care placements and ensure assessments are evidence-based and child-centred * Work collaboratively with children's social care, legal services, and fostering panels * Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for court and panel where necessary Essential Requirements: * Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent * At least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's services * Social Work England Registration. * Driving license and access to own vehicle.
