Location: Wigan Life Centre South, College Avenue
Pay Rate: £35.00 per hour (Umbrella)

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, support, and develop foster carers to provide safe, stable, and nurturing placements for children.Undertake fostering assessments, annual reviews, and statutory visits in line with fostering regulations and national standards.Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to foster carers to promote placement stability and positive outcomes.Work collaboratively with children, families, social workers, and multi-agency partners to meet the needs of looked after children.Monitor and review care plans, ensuring children receive high-quality care and support.Identify and manage safeguarding concerns, ensuring timely and appropriate action is taken to protect children.Prepare high-quality assessments, reports, and documentation for fostering panels and statutory meetings.Attend and contribute to fostering panels, placement planning meetings, and other professional forums as required.Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with fostering legislation, statutory guidance, and local authority policies.Promote placement stability, permanency planning, and the wellbeing of children, ensuring their voices remain central to all decision-making.
