Cheshire West is seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our Family Help Team. This role is pivotal in providing support and intervention to families facing challenges, ensuring the safety and well-being of children while promoting positive family dynamics. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with families, professionals, and community resources to deliver effective support tailored to individual needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families. Developing and implementing intervention plans that promote family resilience and well-being. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate challenges and access necessary services. Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of casework activities and progress. Working in partnership with other agencies to ensure a holistic approach to family support. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance practice and share insights.To be considered for this position, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safeguarding children. Experience working within a family support context is highly desirable, as is a capability to engage with diverse communities.
