Conducting assessments and creating care plans for children and families involved in the child protection system. Participating in case conferences and court hearings to provide expert testimony and recommendations. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes and prevent further harm.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification and registration with Social Work England. Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in challenging situations.

In addition to the above requirements, candidates with experience in court work and knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Children Act 1989 will be highly regarded.
