We are seeking a dedicated and experienced LAC Social Worker to join our team in Hull City. As a Qualified Social Worker specializing in Looked After Children (LAC), you will play a vital role in supporting and advocating for children in care to ensure their well-being and development.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Assessing the needs and risks of children in care to develop and implement care plans Working collaboratively with other professionals, including foster carers, schools, and healthcare providers Providing emotional support and guidance to children and young people in care Advocating for the best interests of children in care within the legal and policy framework Participating in multi-agency meetings and reviews to monitor progress and address any concerns

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification Registered with Social Work England Demonstrated experience working with Looked After Children in a social work setting Strong assessment and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
