Mental Health Social Worker
Location: London Borough of Lambeth
Rate: £32.53 per hour
Contract: Locum
Hours: Full-time - 35 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mental Health Social Worker to join the Adult Social Care Mental Health Service at Lambeth Council.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within the Living Well Network Alliance (LWNA)-a pioneering and integrated partnership with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, Certitude, Thames Reach, and Lambeth NHS CCG. The Alliance provides a coordinated, person-centred approach to delivering mental health services across the borough.

Role Overview:
You will be working with individuals in placements, supporting them in their journey towards greater independence. This will involve comprehensive assessments, care planning, and working closely with multi-disciplinary professionals to deliver strength-based outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver a responsive, safe, and person-centred mental health service.

Support service users in moving from placements to more independent settings.

Engage in safeguarding adults work and uphold best practice.

Work collaboratively with partner agencies within the LWNA.

Maintain clear and accurate records and uphold statutory responsibilities.

What We're Looking For:
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.

Demonstrable experience working within adult mental health services.

Strong understanding of safeguarding, Care Act, and Mental Health legislation.

Ability to work in a multi-agency, integrated team environment.
