We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Children with Disabilities (CWD) team in Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families facing unique challenges. You will be working in a dynamic environment, providing support and guidance to children with disabilities and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.

Your key responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing care plans, and coordinating services to provide holistic support. You will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to create tailored interventions that empower children and promote their well-being. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with local policies and legislation.

To be considered for this role, you must possess a recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include:

Strong understanding of child development and disability issues Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team and independently Proficient in assessment and care planning Experience in safeguarding and child protection
