? Role Summary:
The successful candidate will provide clinical, professional, and operational leadership for the Occupational Therapy service. You'll work closely with the Therapy Services Manager and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of OT care and integration across all inpatient pathways.

? Key Responsibilities:
Lead the OT team across multiple mental health service lines

Deliver highly specialised assessments, interventions, and discharge planning

Collaborate with MDTs to ensure cohesive and patient-centred care

Drive service development, innovation, and evidence-based practice

Contribute to audit, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives

Support junior OTs through supervision and training

? Requirements:
HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist

Significant post-registration experience in a mental health setting

Strong leadership and service development skills

Proven ability to work across complex clinical environments

Experience managing or supporting teams and multidisciplinary collaboration

Job Summary:
Priory Hospital Middleton St George is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Occupational Therapist to lead our Occupational Therapy service. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in shaping and delivering person-centred, recovery-focused care across a range of specialist mental health services, including acute, PICU, and rehabilitation settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide professional leadership to the OT team and wider therapy services

Oversee the development and delivery of evidence-based OT interventions

Ensure high-quality assessments and personalised treatment planning

Supervise and support the development of junior OTs and OT assistants

Collaborate closely with the wider MDT to promote holistic recovery outcomes

Lead on service audits, outcome measures, and continuous service improvement initiatives

Uphold and promote best practice standards and clinical governance

Requirements:

HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist

Significant post-registration experience, ideally in secure or mental health settings

Demonstrated leadership, supervision, and service development skills

Strong knowledge of recovery-oriented practice and therapeutic approaches

Excellent communication, organisational, and team-working skills
