Eden Brown is proud to be recruiting Learning Support Assistants on behalf of a leading college in Greater Manchester. We are seeking both general LSAs and specialist LSAs to support students with complex needs.

Start Date: September

Your Responsibilities:
* Provide in-class and one-to-one support for students with a range of learning needs
Support learners with physical, developmental, or emotional challenges (for complex needs roles)
* Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that helps every student reach their full potential

What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience supporting young people in an educational setting
* A solid understanding of the challenges faced by students with barriers to learning (including social, emotional, and behavioural needs)
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate learners with diverse needs and abilities

Please note: A current DBS on the Update Service is essential for this role.

Job Title: SEND Lead

Rate: £17 - £20 per hour

Eden Brown are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Temporary SEND Lead to ensure the effective placement, support, and progression of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and Additional Learning Support (ALS) needs.

This is a temporary role to start asap for 30 hours per week until the end of May initially.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic leadership for SEND provision across the college.
- Coordinate the placement, review, and ongoing support for students with EHCPs and identified SEND or ALS needs.
- Work collaboratively with curriculum teams, support services, external agencies, and local authorities.
- Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and maintain high standards of inclusive practice.
Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and support strategies, ensuring each student receives the right support to achieve their potential.

About You:

- Proven experience in a SEND leadership role, ideally within a Further Education or post-16 setting.
- In-depth knowledge of EHCP processes, SEND Code of Practice, and ALS frameworks.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence at all levels.
- A proactive, student-centred approach, with a commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities
