Are you an experienced Advanced Practitioner looking for your next challenge in Children's Services?
We are recruiting for an Advanced Practitioner to join the Child Protection (CP) / Child in Need (CIN) Team at Lincolnshire County Council. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive team while providing leadership, guidance, and high-quality practice to improve outcomes for children and families.
About the RoleAs an Advanced Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting frontline social work practice, managing complex cases, and providing professional guidance to colleagues. You will work collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure children receive timely and effective interventions.
Key ResponsibilitiesCaseload Management: Manage a complex caseload of Child Protection and Child in Need cases.
Practice Leadership: Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to social workers.
Assessments & Planning: Complete high-quality assessments, care planning, and risk management.
Safeguarding Standards: Ensure statutory responsibilities and safeguarding standards are met.
Multi-Agency Collaboration: Chair or contribute to multi-agency meetings, strategy discussions, and case reviews.
Service Improvement: Support service improvement and promote best practice across the team.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with organisational standards.
RequirementsProfessional Registration: Active Social Work England registration.
Experience: Significant post-qualifying experience within Children's Services.
Expertise: Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and court processes.
Leadership: Experience supporting, mentoring, or supervising social workers.
Skills: Excellent assessment, communication, and analytical skills.
