Join our dedicated Adults Safeguarding Team in Lincolnshire as a Safeguarding Practitioner, where you will play a pivotal role in protecting vulnerable adults and promoting their well-being. In this essential position, you will be responsible for assessing risk, developing safeguarding plans, and ensuring that the rights and dignity of individuals are upheld at all times. Your expertise will contribute to creating a safe environment for those at risk of harm, while also working collaboratively with other professionals in the field.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs and risks. Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in partnership with service users and their families. Providing advice and support to colleagues and external agencies regarding safeguarding concerns. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in line with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to case reviews.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized qualification in social work (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation and policies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
