Liverpool Council is looking for experience and dedicated Team Manager to support their dynamic Family Help Team .

Location: Liverpool North Connexions Centre, Utting Avenue East
Pay Rate: £45.00 per hour (Umbrella)

Note: 2 days remote, 3 days in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide effective leadership, supervision, and line management to Consultant Social Workers, Social Workers, and Outreach Family Support Workers.Ensure high-quality social work practice and service delivery across the team.Maintain robust management oversight of casework and decision-making.Support Consultant Social Workers in fulfilling their supervisory and management responsibilities.Deliver regular supervision and guidance to staff to promote professional development and positive outcomes for children and families.Monitor and evaluate interventions to ensure they are effective and outcome-focused.Manage staff performance, attendance, and wellbeing in line with organisational policies.Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and statutory responsibilities.Promote a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and best practice.Work collaboratively to improve outcomes for children, young people, and their families.

Essential Requirements:

Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalentAt least 3 years' experience as a social worker within children's servicesSocial Work England RegistrationDriving license and access to own vehicle
