We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Long Term Safeguarding Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our team in East Riding of York. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and interventions to vulnerable children and families to ensure their safety and well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children at risk of harm or in need of support Undertaking direct work with children and families to address safeguarding concerns and promote positive outcomes Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to coordinate and deliver effective safeguarding interventions Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as required Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies on complex safeguarding issues

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and HCPC registration Demonstrable experience in working within a safeguarding or child protection setting Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to safeguarding vulnerable children Excellent communication, assessment, and report writing skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
