Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join the Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team at Manchester City Council.

Pay Rate: £46.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: M12 4LL, Manchester

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager to lead a dedicated Children with Disabilities Team, overseeing complex casework and ensuring high-quality, child-centred practice. You will provide strong leadership, supervision and guidance to social workers while ensuring effective safeguarding and positive outcomes for children and young people.

You will be responsible for managing team performance, supporting professional development, and working closely with partner agencies to deliver effective, coordinated services. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced statutory environment.

Key Skills Required:

* Proven experience in managing or supervising within Children's Social Care
* Strong knowledge of Children with Disabilities services
* Ability to oversee complex casework and provide practice leadership
* Experience in safeguarding, care planning and multi-agency working
* Strong communication, leadership and decision-making skills
* Social Work England registration required (if applicable)

Essential Requirements:

* Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
* Registered with Social Work England (if applicable)
* Significant post-qualification experience within Children's Services
* Previous management or senior practitioner experience
