Are you a passionate Qualified Social Worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the field of mental health? We are currently seeking a dedicated QSW for our Mental Health HD Team based in Nottinghamshire. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with individuals facing complex mental health challenges, providing support and interventions that empower them to lead fulfilling lives.

As a QSW in our Mental Health HD Team, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals' mental health needs and developing tailored care plans. Providing direct support to clients, facilitating access to appropriate services and resources. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals and community organizations, to ensure holistic care. Maintaining accurate documentation and case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance service delivery and professional development.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience working within mental health services or similar settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

Qualified Social Worker - Mental Health Team | Sutton Council
Pay Rate: £30.51 per hour
Location: Sutton, London Borough
Contract: Full-time | Monday to Friday
Driver Required: Yes - own vehicle needed

Sutton Council is seeking a committed and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join their dynamic Mental Health Social Care Team. This is a full-time, duty-based role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting adults with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Act as the Duty Mental Health Social Worker, Monday to Friday.

Manage a complex caseload of adults with mental health needs.

Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including health professionals, housing, and brokerage services.

Undertake Section 117 aftercare planning, attend ward rounds, and liaise with hospitals.

Prepare Court of Protection applications and participate in Mental Health Tribunals.

Conduct safeguarding enquiries and respond to urgent mental health crises.

Travel within and outside of the borough when necessary.

Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with active Social Work England (SWE) registration.

Significant experience in adult mental health social work.

Proven ability to manage complex caseloads under pressure.

Knowledge of mental health legislation, safeguarding procedures, and multi-agency working.

Must be a driver with access to own transport.

Strong communication and decision-making skills.
