We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Community team in Newcastle. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to individuals and families, ensuring their needs are met within the community. You will work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to promote positive outcomes and safeguard vulnerable individuals. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of clients’ needs and circumstances. Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and their families. Providing ongoing support and intervention to promote independence and wellbeing. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding discussions.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices in social work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
