Join our dedicated team in North Somerset as an Experienced Social Worker specializing in Children with Disabilities. We are looking for a passionate and skilled individual to support children and their families, ensuring they receive the care and resources they need. In this rewarding role, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including families, schools, and healthcare providers, to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with disabilities and their families to identify needs and appropriate interventions. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams. Providing direct support and guidance to families, helping them navigate available services and resources. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in compliance with local policies and regulations. Participating in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and share best practices.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children with disabilities in a social work capacity. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
