We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Fostering Team in Herefordshire on a permanent basis. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families involved in the fostering system.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertaking assessments of children and families to determine their needs and suitability for fostering Developing and implementing care plans to support the well-being and development of children in foster care Providing ongoing support and guidance to foster carers to ensure they can meet the needs of the children in their care Participating in multi-agency meetings and reviews to advocate for the best interests of the children Working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to safeguard children and promote positive outcomesEssential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and develop effective intervention plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and professionals Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced and challenging environmentAdditional requirements or benefits:
