Join our dedicated CLA Team in Southend-on-Sea as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in improving the lives of children in care. As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of children and young people, ensuring their welfare and best interests are at the forefront of your practice. Your work will involve conducting assessments, developing care plans, and working collaboratively with families, schools, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes for children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective care plans. Building strong relationships with children and their families to support their needs. Working closely with multi-agency partners to coordinate services and interventions. Regularly reviewing and monitoring the progress of children in care. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly within a looked-after children context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
