Are you a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children and families? Cambridgeshire is seeking a committed Children's Social Worker to join our Family Support and Safeguarding Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children while promoting family resilience and support.

As a Children's Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks, developing and implementing effective care plans. Working collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to support children and their families in achieving positive outcomes. Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring timely interventions and adherence to statutory requirements. Providing support and guidance to families in crisis, facilitating access to resources and services. Documenting case progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with local authority policies.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and family support. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively with families and professionals.
