Physiotherapist - Band 7 - Royal Shrewsbury Hospital

Location:
Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, Shrewsbury Business Park, Building 1, Douglas Court, Anchorage Avenue, Shrewsbury, SY2 6LG

Banding:
Band 7 £30 per hour

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30
No regular weekend working (may be required occasionally to support respiratory, orthopaedic, and patient flow services)

Contract Duration:
Initial 3-month contract
Potential extension through to end of October 2025

Essential Requirements:

Enhanced DBS

HCPC Registration

Proven experience in acute medicine, respiratory, and care of the older person

Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and coaching to colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and deliver high-quality physiotherapy services across acute medical, respiratory, and older person care wards

Support junior colleagues through supervision, training, and mentoring

Contribute to effective discharge planning and safe patient flow

Work collaboratively within the wider MDT to enhance patient outcomes
