In this role, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safety, welfare, and development of children in care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and their families. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and external agencies. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, adhering to statutory requirements and best practices.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England (SWE). Experience working within a children’s services environment, particularly with children in care. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
