Join our dedicated team in Solihull as a Child Protection / Child In Need Practitioner in the AHP field, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and supporting vulnerable children and families. We are seeking compassionate and skilled professionals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of children in need. In this position, you will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to assess, plan, and implement effective interventions that promote the well-being and safety of children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing child protection plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with policy and procedure. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A relevant degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Registered with a professional body (e.g., HCPC, NMC). Experience working in child protection or children in need settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practices.
