We are currently seeking a Senior Social Worker to join our Front End Assessment Team in South Tyneside. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families, providing support and interventions, and making informed decisions to safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable individuals.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

Undertaking complex assessments to identify risks and needs of children and families Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams Providing expert advice and guidance to less experienced team members Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice standards

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

A recognized Social Work qualification and current registration with Social Work England Proven experience in a similar role within a children's services setting Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make evidence-based decisions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with service users and stakeholders Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
