Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team at Stockport Council.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated Children's Services team, supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families. You will undertake statutory assessments, manage complex caseloads, develop child-centred care plans, and work closely with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote positive outcomes.
You will play a key role in assessing the needs of children with disabilities, supporting families, coordinating services, and ensuring interventions are delivered in line with statutory guidance and best practice.
Key Skills Required:
Previous experience within Children with Disabilities, Safeguarding or Children's ServicesStrong knowledge of statutory safeguarding legislation and children's social care practiceExperience undertaking statutory assessments, Child in Need, Child Protection and Children with Disabilities workExcellent assessment, analytical and report writing skillsStrong communication and multi-agency partnership working abilitiesAbility to manage complex caseloads and deliver positive outcomes for children and familiesSocial Work England registration requiredEssential Requirements:
