We are seeking an Experienced Social Worker for the Parenting Assessor position in Swindon, dedicated to supporting families and ensuring the welfare of children. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of families. This role is pivotal in assessing parenting capabilities, providing guidance, and ensuring that children thrive in safe and nurturing environments.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive parenting assessments to evaluate family dynamics and parenting skills. Developing tailored intervention plans to support families in improving parenting practices. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure holistic support for families. Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to relevant stakeholders. Providing ongoing support and guidance to families throughout the assessment process.

Essential qualifications and skills required for this role include:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England (or equivalent body). Proven experience in child protection, family support, or parenting assessments. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse families. Excellent report writing and analytical skills.
