We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's TM - ROTH Team Social Worker to join our team in North Somerset. As a key member of our Qualified Social Work field, you will play a crucial role in supporting and safeguarding children and young people in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
Undertake assessments and create care plans for children and families. Provide direct support and intervention to children and young people at risk. Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure the welfare of children. Participate in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews. Conduct home visits and engage with families to assess their needs.Essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience in children's services. Registration with Social Work England. Strong knowledge of child protection procedures and legislation. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's TM - MASH Team in North Somerset. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling complex cases involving children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
Conducting assessments and investigations to determine the needs of children at risk of harm or in need of support Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other professionals and agencies Providing direct support and intervention to children and families to promote positive outcomes Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventionsThe ideal candidate for this position will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England Demonstrated experience in child protection, safeguarding, and working with children in need Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify risks and develop appropriate interventions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and professionals Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a demanding caseloadAdditional requirements for this role include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel within the region.
