Are you an experienced Team Manager with a passion for early intervention and improving outcomes for children and families? Knowsley Council is looking for a dynamic and strategic Team Manager to lead their Family First Early Help Team, driving forward effective early intervention for families with multiple complex needs.

🔍 About the Role:
As Team Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of Family First Case Managers to deliver high-quality Early Help Assessments, Interventions, and Reviews. Your leadership will ensure that families receive the right support at the right time through a whole-family, multi-agency approach.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Oversight and supervision of case managers to ensure quality, compliance, and outcomesManaging allocation and assessment processes within the Family First ServiceChampioning persistent and positive engagement approaches with children and familiesBuilding and maintaining effective multi-agency partnerships to support safeguarding and risk managementSupporting continuous improvement and service development across the Early Help serviceMonitoring outcomes in line with Knowsley's Early Help Performance Framework and Children & Young People's PlanManaging within a devolved budget and deputising for the Head of Service when required

✅ What We're Looking For:

Qualified Social Worker or relevant leadership experience in Early Help/Family Support settingsStrong management and supervision experienceIn-depth understanding of Early Help frameworks, safeguarding practices, and multi-agency collaborationProven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive measurable outcomesConfident communicator with strong analytical and organisational skills
