Key responsibilities and duties:

Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in need of support Providing direct intervention and support to children and families to safeguard their well-being Liaising with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services and ensure the best outcomes for clients Participating in case conferences and court proceedings to advocate for the needs of children and families Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of interventions and progress

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Work degree and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage challenging situations Strong analytical and decision-making skills
