We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker to join our First Response Team in Leicestershire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing immediate support and intervention to children and families in crisis situations.

Key responsibilities and duties:

Responding to and assessing referrals concerning children at risk of harm or in need of support Undertaking initial assessments and making decisions on appropriate interventions Working collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and other professionals to safeguard children Providing direct support to children and families in crisis situations Contributing to multi-agency meetings and case conferences

Essential qualifications and skills:

Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting Strong assessment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases

Additional requirements or benefits:
